Key points to note when installing PVC tiles

The installation quality of PVC tiles is related to the later use of the construction, so the installation details cannot be ignored. When carrying out installation work, special attention should be paid to these key points. 1. When installing the overlap: PVC tiles should be horizontally overlapped with a wave, and it is recommended that the longitudinal overlap length be no less than 250mm. Please determine the overlap according to the direction of water flow and wind direction, and prevent water leakage caused by installation in the upper and lower layers.

2. All fasteners should be installed at the top of the wave, and ensure that the fasteners are straight with the tile surface. The fasteners should not be tightened too tightly to avoid deformation of the tile and water leakage.

3. When installing and securing, it is recommended to use stainless steel tile hooks and stainless steel pressure plates and other fixing parts for fixation. When drilling holes, a plastic special drill bit should be used, with a diameter slightly larger than the diameter of the fixing part by 1mm. When drilling, the edge of the hole should be kept smooth to prevent stress accumulation, and special care should be taken when drilling in cold weather.

4. The number of fixed components should be ensured to be no less than 6 per square meter. Waterproof caps can be installed above the fixed components. PVC tiles should be laid around the perimeter of the shed frame. Please add the fixed components appropriately and ensure that the part of the wave tiles protruding from the eaves is within 100MM.

5. Please ensure that the span of the purlin is below 700mm during installation to avoid causing the tile surface to fall and deform, resulting in water leakage. The distance between the sandalwood strips should not exceed 80cm for those below 2.0mm, and 100cm for those between 2.0mm and 3.0mm.

If these details are not paid attention to during installation, it may cause PVC tiles to deform, leak, and other problems, affecting the smooth progress and application of construction, and may also increase the cost of use.
