Tiles have a long history in our country. From the blue glazed tiles laid on the imperial court in ancient times to the clay tiles that are closer to today, in the early stages of reform and opening up in rural towns, most households used red bricks and tiles on their roofs. These tiles are fragile, prone to cracking, and may be blown away by strong winds, requiring frequent repairs, which are very laborious.
ASA synthetic resin tiles are fixed using self tapping screws on the board, which ensures safety and prevents them from falling off. They are also difficult to be blown away in strong winds and heavy rain, and do not require renovation or reinforcement during their effective use period. After repeated experiments, it has been proven that the primary material and special weather resistant resin that make up the resin tiles do not react chemically with acids or alkalis, and are resistant to acid, alkali, and corrosion. Even if the tile body is exposed to acid, alkali, or salt environments for a long time, it will not cause a decrease in product function and damage. Therefore, the service life of the composite tile is longer, and the color does not easily fade over time. The insulation performance is also much better than before, which can be converted to 8 to 9 years longer than the service life of ordinary composite tiles, making it possible to form resin tiles with a service life of up to 30 years without any problem.
What are the factors that make resin tile manufacturers, plastic steel tile manufacturers, and PVC tile manufacturers have these functional characteristics? The key influencing factor is the resin layer composed of ASA on its surface, which is a high weather resistance engineering resin. This resin is a ternary polymer with characteristics such as ultra long weather resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, thermal insulation and flame retardancy, not easy to fade, rich color, not easy to fade, and distinct light gloss layer. This layer of resin directly affects the service life of the entire resin tile. The inferior composition of the resin tile surface layer easily undergoes chemical reactions with external substances, causing phenomena such as fading, bulging, and cracking.
Other factors such as thickness and co extrusion technology can affect the quality of resin tiles, and there may be slight differences compared to those with a thickness of 3.0mm. Only good and well crafted ASA synthetic resin tiles are needed to have a longer service life.
